MAG-O3 is fish oil in monoglyceride form. Standard fish oils are supplied as triglycerides or ethyl esters, which the body must break down before absorbing. MAG-O3 is converted to the monoglyceride form by an enzymatic process before it goes into the capsule, so it is in a form the small intestine can absorb directly.
